Have You Looked at the labels of your Insecticides Lately?

We have stopped using commercial Cockroach/Mosquitoes/pesky little intruders killers since the day they almost killed us. Haha. I'm just hyberbole-ing. But you know, I'm not totally pulling your lower extremities, there is truth in insecticides actually killing you, but in a more subtle, oddly torturous way (slow and painful). Don't believe me? Go ahead, Google it.

Heniways, to get rid of flying mosquitoes in our apartment, Pogiji and I have been using Citromint (you can buy it at the 6th floor of Shangri-la Mall). It's a little pricey at first glance, but considering you dilute it with water, it actually lasts so it comes out reasonably-priced. Our 60ml bottle has been with us for more than 3 months already.

I love it because it has a spa-like smell, wards off insects (doesn't kill, just shoos them away) and actually disinfects! I just have one request, I hope that they could offer to refill an empty Citromint bottle at a discount. Saves the environment, and saves us money.

what a good alternative indeed! how much does a 60ml cost? good thing we don't have mosquitoes here, except for a few flying bugs on the bushes, but they don't bite anyway.

mosquitoes (among many others hehe) are woes of the third world. sigh :-(

heniways, i think i bought it at P180, pero parang naghike ang prices nila recently. i haven't bought again kase we still have, but last time i dropped by i think parang P190 na. it's a small bottle so parang nakakadiscourage at first, the price is steep kase. but ours have lasted 3 months na so far :-) so i guess it's actually okay-priced
